Who Are We?
We are a group of volunteers based out of Jupiter and Stuart, FL who
regularly visit the sick and elderly with our pets. All of our teams have been
evaluated using Delta SocietyŽ policies and procedures (see General Information
for more information on Delta Society). This is to assure the facilities and
the people we are visiting that only well trained, safe and reliable animals are
participating.
The places we visit include hospitals, cancer centers, adult day
care, Assisted Living
facilities and Alzheimer facilities in Jupiter, Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens,
Stuart, Tequesta, Wellington and
West Palm Beach.
Our coordinators, Karen Frick and Maureen Parsons, will help you
"get on board" by answering questions and arranging visiting times that fit your
schedule. They're both Delta SocietyŽ Evaluators and hold evaluations
twice a year, in the spring and fall.
